The first day at the school all students take a written and oral test depending on the level of Spanish they have (for beginners this is not a requirement).This is the first step to evaluate our students and prepare a personalized program. All teachers follow the same program but each student and teacher will arrange it according to student´s special needs. The students take a test at the end of each level. Every day the teachers prepare a daily lesson program for each student.

SCHEDULE

We manage our courses in the following way:

REGULAR COURSES:

Specifications: Designed for volunteers, professionals or people who don’t have the time for a full immersion program.

Duration: 2 hours per day ( Two or five days a week or to be arranged)

INTENSIVE COURSES:

Specifications: Designed for all students who want to learn the language in a short time and have enough time to attend class several hours a day.

Duration: Four hours per day, five days a week from 9:00- 13:00 in the morning, or 14:00-18:00 with a coffee-break of 15 minutes.

AS PART OF OUR COMMITMENT TO BEING A CULTURAL & TOURISTIC ACADEMY OF SPANISH, ALL COURSES WILL INCLUDE LECTURES ON ECUADORIAN GEOGRAPHY,HISTORITY ,LITERATURE, POLITICS AND CULTURE.

IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS COURSE

Specifications: Designed for people who have previously studied Spanish and who want to improve their skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening, and become more confident in communicating at a more professional level.

Duration: 2 hours per day ( Two or five days a week)

SPANISH FOR PROFESSIONALS, BUSINESS & VOLUNTEERS

Specifications: Designed for students, professionals, or volunteers who want to focus on specific subjects of interest like business, environment, natural sciences or medicine. We give the student special tools to help them decide on a future career, or give support to professionals who want to learn specific items and areas of interest in their careers.

Duration: To be arranged by the student and teacher depending on the student´s requirements. You can arrange your lessons in the morning from 09:00-13:00 or in the afternoon from 14:00-18:00.We are happy to accommodate you at other time to fit your schedule.

Spanish for Business:

• Basic vocabulary for reading und understanding.
• The History and development of Business.
• Specialists in Business Theory.
• Business Plan and Projects.
• Economy, Basic Accounting ,and Human Resources.

Basic Medical Spanish ( in association with volunteer work in hospitals of the City)

• Basic vocabulary for reading and understanding.
• Human anatomy- Picture books and exercises.
• Practical Spanish conversation for conducting medical

  Development.

Natural Sciences and Environment

• Natural resources Vocabulary.
• The Human being.
• Earth Elements.
• Botany , flora and fauna in Ecuador.
• Weather and Ecology.
• Global Warming.

These programs are designed by professionals with degrees in Medicine, Business and Biology.

VOLUNTEER WORK

Becoming a volunteer is a rewarding experience that will change your life in order to know to the Ecuadorian culture, get in touch with social problems, contrasts and gives you the opportunity to help other people with less opportunities in life. The School is proud to introduce you to Ecuador´s volunteer opportunities. We offer programs of volunteer work abroad in social , environmental ,health and community areas.

The school arrange for you a complete program of volunteer work in Quito in hospitals ,geriatric facilities , orphanages and schools. For environmental and community work we have an agreement with the Municipality of Quito to help our students to become part of their volunteer programs with other Ecuadorian volunteers that are working in Projects for disaster risk reduction and security.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Specifications: Designed for students or professionals who work or study in Quito and cannot attend at the school. Our teachers can go directly to teach you in your place (office or home). We offer private lessons both Regular Spanish courses or Spanish for Professionals .
